About Earl

Earl has come a long way to get where he is today. After attending college at Butler University, Earl moved on to a stint in service with the United States Marine Corps. After four years, Earl decided not to volunteer again and moved on to what would be his next substantive career – radio. Over 16 years, Earl worked in a variety of formats – AOR, Top 40, Easy Listening, News/Talk – eventually reaching the Piedmont Triad before departing the business. Since that time, Earl has been one of the prominent poker journalists in the business, working for several notable poker news websites and magazines. He has also rekindled his love of radio, broadcasting two programs, “Rockin’ in the U. S. A.” and “Crackin’ the Seal,” at Greater Manchester Rock Radio on Sundays at 1PM and 4PM, respectively.

While there is a wealth of things that Earl has done, there is still so much more left to see and learn.

Thanks Cary for the support! I’ve been a bit down about things as I thought there would be a bit more readership. It takes time, though, so I’ll see if it improves!

Hi earl. Please don’t be down about low readership for now. Success and notoriety can take a very long time to come to fruition. Just keep being a much needed voice of reason!

  3. Do you have a Facebook page promoting this Blog? If you want more readers and you have a page you can lead people here through the page. 🙂 Just like I do with my AVON Website. I have a “Shop Now” button. 🙂

Hi Earl, I ran across your blog while searching for Don’t_Rump News! I love your articles; you have an amazing gift for writing (and I enjoy the attached pics as well)! I agree with the previous poster, you should look at creating either a facebook page or other selfless promotion of your blog to showcase your writings/thoughts to the world. As I said earlier, you have a gift and I know others would love reading and following you. God bless my new friend. Bob

Thanks for the kind sentiments, Bob. I will definitely look into the Facebook page. Thought I promoted it enough through my own FB, but a dedicated FB page might be a better route. Hope you continue to enjoy reading!
